EPISODE CONTEXT
Picking up directly from Episode 1's rescue of Lumachina and the group's decision to escort her to Zircon Tower, this episode delivers on that destination and introduces the major authority figures who will drive the season's central conflict around Church corruption. It's the second episode of ten, firmly in the foundation-laying phase, and directly sets the stage for the darker revelations expected in Episode 3, 'Corrupt Ritual.'
