Hitori no Shita - The Outcast

Not a fan of Chinese drama, particularly anime, but this one is an exemption. The plot has the same depth as the mystery surrounding it. Houhou is a well-written character and my fave instead of the main lead. The animation was action-packed and the art style was different than usual.

This episode sums up what motivates Fuu HouHou and how much Zhang Chulan actually meant to her as well. Even though there is no fighting scenes in this episode, I like how it delve into Fuu HouHou's past and explain how she came to be someone with such mysterious aura around her. Hopefully the story's pace can improve for next season!

We learn more about Fuu HouHou's past in this episode. It made me sad to learn that she doesn't understand the concept of family and it seems like her past is shrouded in mystery as well. Hopefully in the final episode we will learn more about her.

I did not expect the reveal at the end of the episode. Now I'm intrigued on what will happen to Zhang Chulan as the secret he uncovered will actually affect his relationship with others who he called his comrades as well.

A good episode. The episode here put Feng BaoBao in the spotlight and I quite like how she moves and fight during the battle scenes. So far the pace is going smoothly and getting more intense.

It's a superb episode with a lot of battle scenes throughout the episode. We learn more about the organization, the Tengekai in this episode as well and also about one of the key characters in this anime which is Fuu Saen as well.

We have a training arc in this episode in order to make Zhang Chulan learn to control his power and also empower his strength as well. We can also see how Zhang Chulan's relationship with Feng BaoBao deepen in this episode as well. So far the episode is good and we have a bit of a cliffhanger at the end which shows of the possibility of more action scenes.

The action scenes in this episode is superb! I like how know the plot getting more interesting and complicated for the MC as well. So far I also like how Zhang Chulan grow as well from the past episodes.

I like how the plot seems to be moving in the right place now as we get to know more about both side in this episode. There is also comedic scenes in this episode that makes me laugh as well. At the end of the episode there seems to be another party who is interested with Zhang Chulan as well. Let's see how it goes next!

The action scenes in this episode so far is good. However I just wish they explore more on the villain's motives and how they clash with the MC and what they actually want. So far the antagonists does not peek my interest except for one of them which is the pink-haired girl as she seems to have more energy and distinct characteristics than the others. We understand more about Zhang Chulan's past as well but so far his past is not very interesting to me as he seems lacking in motivation to take down his enemies who were desecrating his grandfather's grave.

It seems like in this episode the plot seems more interesting as the pace move towards a more intense atmosphere. Right now what got me interested is in knowing who the antagonists of the story so far and what is their aim in desecrating Zhang Chulan's grandfather's grave. The cliffhanger at the end left me intrigued a bit but let see whether it get's better in next episode or not.

The plot for me is still weak in this episode. The MC seems to be a bit unbothered when the one who he found digging his grandfather's grave is also there with him in college. Even thought there is a bit of action scenes in this episode, I found the lack of clear motivation from Chulan makes it hard for me to continue watching for another episodes but hopefully his characteristic and growth become much more ideal later on.

Usually the first episode will set the plot in a clear goal on which way it is directing to and how the plot will evolve from that. However, it saddens me that the first episode fail to make a precise and clear plot on what is happening and how the main character is currently involved. Chulan's characteristic also seems to be all over the place with no clear motivations and goals so far.

This episode was indeed a peak ending! The mystery surrounding the entire series was a major plot twist. The backstory was masterfully written and the mood was emotional. Houhou's past was so miserable that it was hard to watch. The building of the interlocking plot points had slowly connected, but the main character would have the final key.

This episode was the best so far when it comes to the sentimental side. The backstory of Houhou has a narrative depth that was intriguing and engaging at the same time. The tone was indeed sorrowful, and that excruciating pain rarely seen in the emotionless face was kept cryptic.

That cliffhanger was the plot twist! That was shocking! The beginning of this episode was tense, given Houhou's condition. The confrontation was pretty heated up but as the ep goes on, the mystery deepens about Houhou. The tone was definitely mysterious and the pacing was slow burn.

This episode was the best by far. Quite an unexpected turn of events! Houhou totally nailed this one! The ep was funny, especially the characters she fought became her spectators, while Houhou should have done that act from the very start! That was a total handicap for her. And that cliffhanger, though!

It was a pretty decent episode but can't help to keep yawning. The action scenes were good, but the animation quality lacks impact. Soran sitting on the bed looks like Eren on that topless look and tied hair.

This episode just flies fast with 22 minutes. The plot tone was getting complicated as it progressed and getting deeper to Soran's complex connections. Felt frustrated by Soran's naivety and gullibility, that also made the pacing fast. Hence, the spanning of the frame going back to the Express Delivery office made the plot less serious.

This episode was kind of messy, too. The pacing definitely got some issues, by suddenly introducing another set of characters, in the middle of some negotiation. Soran was indeed in-demand and this series of abductions were getting predictable. The fighting scenes somehow took that spotlight, and reminded me of chidori/raikiri from Naruto.
