EPISODE REVIEWS
I did not expect the reveal at the end of the episode. Now I'm intrigued on what will happen to Zhang Chulan as the secret he uncovered will actually affect his relationship with others who he called his comrades as well.
That cliffhanger was the plot twist! That was shocking! The beginning of this episode was tense, given Houhou's condition. The confrontation was pretty heated up but as the ep goes on, the mystery deepens about Houhou. The tone was definitely mysterious and the pacing was slow burn.
This scene really made an impact. The gradually unravelling mystery brings the narrative to life. However, the introduction of several new characters felt rushed, so I didn’t quite grasp their essence. The increasingly complex secrets create a profound atmosphere, executed with great finesse. It has left me even more curious to see how their story will unfold.
