I love this anime, Started reading the manga because of it.

Aina went to Okinawa to save Iori from a romantic situation and came out of a love hotel. The irony is so dense you could cut it. Kohei deserves hazard pay at this point

Fry feeding in the car. That's it. That's the review. Something about Iori just handing her a fry and her taking it without a word did more work than any confession scene could

Kaya bursting in to rescue Aina from Kohei giving relationship advice is peak misunderstanding comedy. I felt bad for laughing. Then Nanaka and Azusa showed up and made it worse. Nobody in this show can just have a normal conversation

That izakaya scene with the sanshin music and Chisa actually dancing is going to live in my head rent free for a while

Chisa saying she's sleeping in the tub after the clerk called it a bonding bed broke me. That was the most in-character thing she's done all season

Watched Aina try three different schemes to sabotage the trip and fail at every single turn. By the time she was crying over the bishoujo game I was fully on her side. Go follow them. Do it. Sink your own ship

Sakurako eavesdropping at the family restaurant and going oh is that so was such a quiet little time bomb. She is definitely doing something with that info next episode

Kohei treating Aina's whole love crisis like a visual novel route choice is peak comedy. Of course that is how his brain works. He identified the couple instantly too

the Okinawa water shots look so good this episode really sells the crystal clear fish thing. Comfy vibes after the Palau chaos were needed

Iori offering Chisa a fry in the car is gonna live in my head rent free. Small thing but it said more than any confession speech could

My take is Aina is genuinely annoying me now. She gave him a whole eroge just to sabotage a beach trip. That is not cute anymore it is just sad

The second they surfaced from that love hotel and saw each other you just knew the finale is gonna be absolute chaos. Chisa saying she'd sleep in the tub though. That got me

Purists can complain all they want about missing the naked screaming PaB stuff but this quiet Chisa and Iori trip is exactly what the show needed after Palau

I couldn't stop grinning during the izakaya dancing bit. Chisa actually caved and danced with him. That never happens. My favorite moment of the whole season easily

The animation dipped a bit during the physical comedy bits compared to S1 but Yuma Uchida's screaming carries this show so hard I barely noticed. Yamamoto's peaceful drunk smile while unconscious with a bottle stuck to his crotch will live in my head forever

Iori grabbing Yamamoto by the collar screaming that his love will NEVER come true is such a perfect moment. He can't explain why without destroying Kohei but he also refuses to let his friend fall deeper. Peak big brother energy from the biggest scumbag of them all

Nojima thinking his face is handsome enough to quit school for YouTube had me dying. The group telling him he'd need to be blinded first was brutal. I am glad they gave the scumbags a full episode after all that mixer romance stuff. This is the Grand Blue I signed up for
