Grand Blue Dreaming Season 2

This anime really make me laugh and absurd

Grand Blue's Season 2 finale somehow pivots from cliff survival comedy to genuine romantic tension between Iori and Chisa, and it actually works. Funny, surprisingly sweet, and the perfect note to end on before Season 3.

It has this classic island adventure feel to it, the pacing of the story has stayed relatively fast and light with lots of humor and meme style energy keeping it fun. There has been a lot of character development between Chisa and Iori.

Aina also gets the opportunity to show off some of her cuteness in this episode. Even with all the chaos in their lives, the whole tone of the episode feels really sweet and lowkey shows how good of a boyfriend Iori could be if he weren't so crazy.

I think it's really funny how Iori becomes so popular nearly overnight. And I think the episode portrays that perfectly with the chaos and misunderstandings surrounding him. The pacing is consistently fast throughout the entire episode, as well as the use of humor.

This show is hilarious due to its fast pacing, great chemistry between characters, and consistent delivery of new jokes to go along with all of this. Iori is as dumb as ever, and Sakurako does not waste a minute when she is on screen, she steals almost all the scenes she is in!

It bogged down in parts, but pacing eventually came together and felt like classic Grand Blue again. Comedy became really sharp and characters chemistry really popped after previously being a little odd and muted.

The way the two characters, Iori and Kohei, play off of one another was really impressive, they had a lot of really good jokes. The voice acting was solid, the atmosphere was very enjoyable, and it was refreshing to feel how much of a connection the cast had with each other.

Peak physical comedy chaos. The lab test scene is classic Grand Blue stupidity, but the abandoned school trip adds a great campfire vibe. The accidental kiss and drunk Chisa scene make this episode extra memorable.

The restaurant job setup brings a fresh kind of chaos. Sakurako’s constant mood swings around Naomi and Iori are hilarious, and the misunderstandings at Grand Blue keep the romantic tension comedy moving perfectly.

This episode thrives on layered misunderstandings. Everyone is reading the wrong signals, which makes every conversation funnier than the last. Sakurako’s rejection scene also adds a nice touch of real emotion under the comedy.

A surprisingly sweet episode with one of Aina’s best moments so far. The movie date feels awkward in the most believable way, and the fake “tuition crisis” prank at the end is exactly the kind of cruelly funny payoff this show loves.

Grand Blue does it again — an island trip gone totally off the rails. The episode is hilarious, and the stormy setting adds unpredictability to all the drinking, tension, and ridiculous antics.

A chaotic yet heartfelt finale. The cliff antics are classic comedy, but Chisa confronting Iori adds real emotional weight. Their awkward confession moment beautifully shifts their relationship, ending the season on a satisfying note.

This episode is really silly fun. You have Maid Cafe chaos, a fantastic chemistry between the cast, and the ruthlessly funny type of comedy that is funnier the more out of control it gets with Iori and Kouhei stealing the show.

The cast had a fantastic connection and the jokes about sabotaging sales were hilarious throughout this episodes. The fact that the person that Iori had lent his adult CD magazine to actually recognized him and knew the diving signal was a great that made that scene even funnier!

I find this episode hilarious since they created an entire game just for her. It seems like an experiment on how much she can say without knowing it. It was definitely the funniest episode, especially the last half. She looked really hot and attractive too.

Memeable and funny, this show retains a fun, carefree tone in closing off its season with an entertaining and upbeat finale to find character development for Chisa. Azusa and Nanaka are both cool, and this season was a blast.

Shiori dominated this one. She is totally sharp, scheming, and unexpected fun nature. I like the character development here, which highlight here the sibling comedy. Although the production values are a bit lacking, the humor and overall atmosphere do a lot to keep it enjoyable.

It still has the same charm, likeable characters, wildly funny scenes, and so much fun at the beach. The characters continue to get along with each other wonderfully, the jokes are consistently funny, and the whole thing captures the feeling of an ideal summer anime watch.
