Synopsis
In the name of the king, the Valiante Kingdom launched hunts to exterminate users of witchcraft. Seventeen years later, their pursuit is still growing in both size and brutality. Unbeknownst to the citizens, the targets of these witch hunts are the secret protectors of humanity. Known as the Makai Knights and Alchemists, they have a strong will to protect people from Horrors, demons who possess souls plagued by sadness and pain. One such Makai Knight is 17-year-old Leon Luis who inherits the legendary armor of the Golden Knight Garo from his mother. Though he possesses great power, he struggles to overcome the hatred he bears from his mother's death at the hands of the kingdom. His father German, known as Zoro the Shadow Cutting Knight, is still training Leon when he is called to investigate the upsurge of Horrors in the kingdom's capital. Although German knows Leon's will is wavering, he decides to bring Leon along to continue his training. As German and Leon head to the capital, the king's amiable son Alfonso San Valiante struggles to find a solution to the growing Horror threat. But before he can do so, he is double-crossed and banished from his own kingdom. To return home, Alfonso sets out to find the help and strength he needs to reclaim the throne. During his search, he comes across Leon, whose interactions with the prince will forever change both of their fates.

This episode had a mix of mystery and a dark, tense vibe. The thing involved here was very deceptive and manipulative, even though he was helping people. And whenever German is involved in an episode, there’s automatically a touch of comedy. And the scene i like was when German’s opponent never lost his sense of duty, even after becoming a Horror. Haha !!
This episode was very emotional. His resolve as a Makai Knight was shattered because of his emotional dilemma, and he became one of the reasons the place was destroyed. The visual effects were great, and now I’m even more curious about what will happen to Leon after these events.
Wow! Even from the very first episode, you can already feel the heavy lore and the dark, tense vibe of the story. The storyline is really catchy, and it definitely makes you look forward to what will happen in the next episodes.
This episode was very emotional, and it’s true that parents will do everything they can to protect their child, no matter the form or method. The finale was great, and I really enjoyed it a lot. Two thumbs up !!
The background music fit the fighting scenes perfectly and gave them a very intense feel. The scenes were also very emotional, as they poured all their effort and strength into the battle. Also we could also see Octavia’s unwavering trust and love for Mendoza.
I’m really getting annoyed with Octavia, haha! The events are getting more and more intense, and I’m really enjoying the anime’s visual effects during the fight scenes. Since the ending is getting closer and closer i expect more exciting scenes.
This episode presented its story really well, as it revolved around the past memories of a father and son. It was a bit painful to watch because while their backstory showed that their bond seemed unbreakable, they still ended up fighting for some reason.
This episode was good, but I wasn’t that interested because Octavia was really getting on my nerves hahaha! Well, the episode focused more on deception and showed an unshakable trust even though they already knew what they were doing was wrong. Let’s see what will happen in the next episode.
And now, we finally get to know one of the characters who was introduced from the very beginning, which is Ema. This episode revolves around Ema and the purpose of her journey, which is to find a specific Horror she has been searching for a long time. You can feel the mix emotion of the character in each scenes. Wait what was that? Wait, wait hahaha! That really left me hanging.
I thought he was going to be consumed by his own emotions again because of the tragedy that happened to the people he considered his family, but it’s a good thing he fought against it. He finally found a purpose again and reclaimed what truly belonged to him. Hopefully, the upcoming episodes will be even better.
This episode was very emotional. It was nice to see the old Leon slowly coming back and finding a new purpose to keep moving forward in life. We can also see how desperate he was to ask Alfonso for help because he knew deep inside that he couldn’t do anything without the power of a Makai Knight to face the Horror, which was kind of sad to watch as he begged helplessly.
The pacing of the story became even slower in this episode, and it focused on one of the former side characters of the series. You can see their passion and hard work in creating the armor. It wasn’t boring, but it just didn’t feel that catchy to me. Hopefully, the next episode will be better.
This episode revolves around Prince Alfonso and his exhausting responsibilities as a prince as he seek time to take a little break. The story had another slow pace, and although some problems started to arise, they weren’t as intense as the ones in the previous episodes. I really hope the upcoming episodes will feature some great fight scenes again.
The pacing of the story in this episode was slow, and it also showed how Leon’s life changed after what happened. We can also see how deeply he was affected mentally and emotionally by what happened. What the ! I think someone might replace Mendoza… hmm.
This episode focused more on German (formerly called Roberto) and Bernardo’s memories, showing the strong bond of friendship they shared in the past and the things they went through together. Once again, this episode gives off a dark and tense vibe. It makes the upcoming episodes even more intriguing.
Haha! German’s reaction was funny he should’ve listened to the explanation first. Well, his scenes are almost always hilarious anyway. This episode was also well-balanced because of its mix of comedy and dark, tense vibes. Now, we also got to see the root of Mendoza’s anger.
This episode was somewhat emotional, with a very dark and tense atmosphere that balanced the story well. It’s not just full of fight scenes every episode truly has a story, which makes it really enjoyable to watch. It also makes me curious about what will happen next now that Leon and Alfonso’s paths have finally crossed.
The story focuses on German and the memories from his past. Although not everything has been revealed yet, the upcoming episodes will surely explain more of the events related to him, and we’ll get to know him even better.
An epic finale that is visually directed and emotionally charged. It is just as intense as the battles and gives an air of resolution that I found quite enjoyable. Sacrifice, hope and determination all come into play.
It is a very intense and emotional episode leading up to the inevitable collapse of everything. The constant fights seem very desperate as the two sides fight amid the chaos building up due to the resurrection of Anima.
