The pacing of the story became even slower in this episode, and it focused on one of the former side characters of the series. You can see their passion and hard work in creating the armor. It wasn’t boring, but it just didn’t feel that catchy to me. Hopefully, the next episode will be better.
An interesting and creative episode which turns its focus on human creativity in the more menacing setting of battles in Makai. I found the concept of craftsmanship very interesting, offering a realistic counterpoint to the more aggressive nature of the show.
This ep is a total masterclass in storytelling and Leon’s growth is finally hitting different. We get the depth and character lore needed to see him move past his obsession with the golden armor.
