The pacing of the story in this episode was slow, and it also showed how Leon’s life changed after what happened. We can also see how deeply he was affected mentally and emotionally by what happened. What the ! I think someone might replace Mendoza… hmm.

It was a good episode in terms of dealing with the effects after a great war. It had a deeper tone as compared to others which were more based on effects and outcomes. The slow pace with emotional resolution was enjoyable.

This ep is a total pivot and the fallout from the Santa Maria battle is heavy. We finally get the character depth needed to see Leon at his absolute lowest, and the shift in tone is actually insane.
