kimblee is a literal monster for using all those drachma soldiers just to finish his blood crest and the way he just stood there watching the cannons fire was chilling

my heart actually broke a little bit when may chang had to leave the group and start her long walk back to xing with that tiny panda and a jar full of envy

I am still processing that reveal of the immortal army in the basement, because it looks like a literal nightmare of pale bodies hanging from the ceiling. It makes the whole military conspiracy feel way more real and dangerous now that we see what they were actually building. Olivier looks like she is the only person sane enough to be horrified by it

i did not think dr marcoh had it in him to just dismantle a homunculus like that and seeing him touch envy and just watch that giant monster fall apart was the coolest thing

marcoh really went from a nervous doctor to a total beast and the way he just reached out and unraveled envy's soul was something i never expected to see from him

the reveal of those soulless mannequin soldiers in the basement of central was terrifying especially with how calm general raven was while explaining their purpose to olivier

Scar wanting to change the country from the inside instead of just destroying it shows how much he has grown and him giving May the homunculus for her clan was actually selfless

Envy biting Yoki on the finger while he was trying to act tough in front of a glass jar was hilarious and Yoki deserves every bit of grief the group gives him

That goodbye between May and the rest of the group was really touching and she better make it back to Xing safely with that jar so her people can finally be protected

I never thought I would see the day where Dr. Marcoh would be the one to save the day, but watching him turn Envy into that disgusting little parasite was so rewarding. The best part was definitely everyone telling Envy to go ahead and kill Yoki because they did not care about him at all, it was such a funny break from the action.

The way Kimblee just watched that army get wiped out at the fortress really shows how much of a monster he is and seeing the blood crest form in the snow was chilling

Kimblee just standing there and watching those soldiers get obliterated to make a blood crest was chilling and he is easily one of the most terrifying villains in this entire story

Seeing all those creepy mannequin soldiers hanging in the basement of Central was a nightmare and General Raven acting like it was some great achievement makes the military seem even more twisted

I honestly did not think Dr Marcoh had it in him to be that brave but seeing him destroy Envy from the inside was incredible. That tiny lizard form is so pathetic compared to the giant monster he was just a minute ago, and it feels like some justice for the people of Ishval since Envy started the whole war.

Bradley saying his wife was the only thing he actually chose for himself was such a weirdly human moment for a literal monster and it made the whole scene with Hawkeye feel heavy

That scene where Bradley told Hawkeye his wife was the only thing he chose for himself actually made him feel more human and it was such an unsettling moment in his office

My skin was crawling when Envy revealed his true form with all those faces screaming on his body and seeing Marcoh wipe that smug look off his face felt great

May Chang leaving for her home country with that tiny monster in a bottle is such a huge move and Scar being the one to suggest it shows how much he changed

I am still reeling from Dr Marcoh absolutely wrecking Envy and that tiny green worm form is so pathetic compared to how much he usually talks down to everyone else

Olivier Armstrong stepping on her brother's foot was the laugh I needed before they showed that horrifying basement, because those mannequin things are seriously disturbing.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 43 of 64, this lands squarely in Brotherhood's escalation phase, where the counteroffensive preparations from earlier episodes shift into active execution. The groundwork laid in 'Signs of a Counteroffensive' pays off here as plans collide with reality, testing alliances and exposing vulnerabilities. Everything in this episode feeds directly into the momentum building toward the Promised Day, the series' climactic convergence point.
