those pale mannequin bodies hanging from the ceiling in central were really creepy and it shows how insane the military has become with this immortal soldier project

alphonse is way more mature than his brother and seeing him actually sit down to listen to his father was a nice change of pace because we finally got the truth about xerxes and those half a million souls trapped inside hohenheim and it makes father look even scarier knowing he is just a hollow imitation of a human man

ling screaming at greed inside his own head for killing his family was a huge moment and seeing all those old memories flood back after bido died was so painful

the way the people in liore are working to fix their town without relying on miracles was a nice touch and winry deserved that break after everything she went through in the north

I am so glad Ed finally getting back into the fight and saying he is revving at full throttle was exactly what my soul needed, especially after watching him struggle to even walk for the last few episodes

learning that hohenheim is basically a walking philosopher stone explains so much about why he is so powerful and it was cool to see him finally being useful by explaining fathers real plan

I was cheering when Greed finally snapped and went after Bradley at his own house, because that internal fight between him and Ling is the best part of his character arc right now

Al punching his dad in the stomach to show he trusts him was such a great way to handle that meeting and it felt so much more mature than edward just yelling

I felt sick seeing Greed kill Bido like that and the poor guy just wanted his old boss back but he got slashed instead while trying to be a friend

edward really has the worst taste in the entire world and that purple car with the giant horns had me laughing so hard because his chimera friends were so embarrassed to be seen in it

I still can't believe Greed actually killed Bido and it was so depressing seeing him realize what he did after Ling started yelling at him from the inside
kenpachi_killer_104's avatar
kenpachi_killer_104
I actually felt Al hitting Hohenheim in the gut was the best way to show his trust and that rare smile from his dad was so sweet

I cannot believe Edward really turned that getaway car into a purple hot rod with horns and flames. Those chimeras were so offended by his terrible taste in art and it made the whole chase hilarious

Ed is back on his feet and already causing chaos with his new chimera buddies. He is definitely revving at full throttle now that he has a plan to find Al and Marcoh

I was hyped seeing Greed march into the mansion and draw a sword on Bradley after that mental breakdown. It is about time someone took the fight straight to the Fuhrer like that

Hohenheim dropping that bomb about having half a million souls inside him was insane and poor Al looked so overwhelmed by the truth

That basement full of mannequin soldiers is the creepiest thing in the entire show so far. General Raven is absolutely insane for thinking those things are a good idea and Bido looked totally terrified

Bido stumbling onto that room of mannequin soldiers was terrifying and it really shows how far the military is willing to go for an immortal army

Greed showing up at the Führer house and taking out the guards was the coolest way to end the episode and that face-off with Bradley looks like it will be huge

It was nice to see Rose again and hear how the brothers changed that town for the better. Winry finally getting a break in a bathtub was well deserved after all that stress

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 44 of 64, this lands squarely in Brotherhood's escalation phase, following intense confrontations that reshuffled alliances and exposed deeper conspiracies. It serves as a critical bridge between the fallout of recent battles and the buildup toward the Promised Day, the series' climactic endgame. Character bonds and motivations crystallized here will pay off heavily in the final stretch.
