Sousuke getting his groove back is the most satisfying thing ever. The animation studio absolutely flexed their budget on the mecha combat here. The way the Lambda Driver is utilized is just jaw dropping. Pure hype from start to finish.

Episode Context

Episode 12 stands as the critical escalation point following Sousuke's deeply personal reckoning in 'His Problem,' where his psychological fractures threatened to sideline him entirely. This episode forces those internal conflicts into external, unavoidable confrontations with key adversaries, bringing the season's themes of identity and duty to a breaking point. It serves as the direct launchpad into the season finale, positioning every major thread for resolution in episode 13.
