A masterclass in how to do a mecha finale. The final clash is brutal, fast paced and visually spectacular. It ties up the emotional arcs perfectly while delivering top tier action.

Episode Context

As Episode 13 of 13, this is the definitive climax following the explosive events of 'Burning Hong Kong,' where Amalgam's operations reached a breaking point and Sousuke's resolve was tested to its limits. The entire Second Raid season has traced Sousuke's crisis of purpose and his separation from Kaname, and this finale confronts those threads head-on. While it wraps the season's central Amalgam conflict, it also positions the broader Full Metal Panic! narrative for continuation beyond this arc.
