VerifiedThe title says Old Country Bumpkin, but at this point he's basically fantasy John Wick with a sword and unlimited dad energy.
VerifiedMewi's growth has been one of my favorite parts of Season 2. Seeing her become more confident while Beryl quietly carries everyone makes this episode surprisingly wholesome.
VerifiedMagic users were nerfed, so naturally the country bumpkin became the MVP. This episode was basically "local sword grandpa saves the day" and I'm not complaining.
EPISODE CONTEXT
After Episode 2 establishes Mewi finding her footing socially and Ficelle reflecting on her role as an instructor, Episode 3 immediately stress-tests that progress by turning the academy itself into a crisis zone. It marks the season's first significant escalation on the school side of the story, giving Ficelle a prominent spotlight alongside Beryl before Episode 4 redirects attention toward Beryl's return home.
