πŸ“– SYNOPSIS

"Flying Witch" follows Makoto, a young witch who, upon turning fifteen, is sent to live with relatives in Aomori Prefecture to complete her high school education. Unlike traditional witch training, Makoto's parents prioritize her schooling, leading her to a new life in the countryside. Accompanied by her familiar, Chito the cat, Makoto must adapt to a different environment and learn to control her magic. The series explores themes of coming-of-age, the balance between tradition and modernity, and the importance of family and community. Makoto's biggest challenge is maintaining the secrecy of her magical abilities while interacting with the "normal" world, a task she often finds difficult to remember. The anime focuses on the everyday life of a young witch and the gentle charm of rural Japan.
