This entire episode was very fun to watch. The first few scenes were so enjoyable to watch because we get to see more of Makoto and the Kuramoto siblings spend more time with each other. The way they interact with each other makes their scenes feel so wholesome to watch. The last few scenes were some of my favorite parts of this episode because of what Akane did.

Sitting at the one-third mark of this 12-episode season, episode 4 builds naturally from Makoto's farming efforts and her sister Akane's mentorship in episode 3, now expanding the magical world around her by introducing a new character connected to Akane's past. This broadens the show's cast and the scope of its witching community, laying groundwork for richer interactions in the episodes ahead. The series continues its gradual approach to world-building, each episode gently adding new magical elements while keeping Makoto's everyday adaptation as the emotional anchor.
