This episode didn't have much of a plot, but it was entertaining. It is nice to see that Makoto manages to fit in well with a regular human and is learning to be a better witch.

I really love how the last episode was just as relaxing and wholesome as the previous episodes. While not a lot happened in this episode, I still enjoyed watching each characters spend time together. I do wish the series had shown more flashbacks of their childhoods or past experiences since I think it would have made me feel even more attached to them and allow me to see how they grew into the characters they are.

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 11's whimsical flying whale adventure, one of the series' most fantastical outings, this finale deliberately scales back to intimate, grounded storytelling as its closing statement. As the twelfth and final episode, it serves as a reflective capstone for the entire season, reinforcing Flying Witch's core thesis that magic lives in ordinary moments, personal growth, and the bonds between family. There is no continuation or second season setup; this is a complete, self-contained goodbye.
