📖 SYNOPSIS
Earth is under attack by the Zelan Empire, whose leader, Emperor Darius, seeks to save his people by conquering our planet. Thousands of years ago, the Zelans uplifted Earth with advanced technology, but now they return as invaders. Standing in their way is the Daiku Maryu, a carrier superweapon, and its crew of psychic misfits, including an American navy pilot, a sumo wrestler, and a kickboxing champion. Joining them is Sanshiro Tsuwabuki, a brash baseball player whose arm was injured in a Zelan attack. Seeking revenge, Sanshiro pilots the giant super robot Gaiking, leading the charge against the alien threat. The series focuses on the clash of civilizations and the fight for Earth's survival.
