Ninja Senshi Tobikage follows Joe Maya, a boy residing on Mars, who becomes entangled in an intergalactic conflict. He witnesses an attack by the forces of Planet Zaboom on a princess from Planet Radorio, who has crash-landed on Mars while fleeing the Zaboom Emperor's conquest. Joe boards the princess's ship, setting off a series of events that will change his life. He and his friends pilot three powerful mecha beasts to combat the Emperor's forces. Facing overwhelming odds, they receive unexpected assistance from Tobikage, a mysterious ninja robot. Tobikage can combine with the three mecha beasts, granting it immense power, and together, Joe and Tobikage fight against the Zaboom Empire. The series explores themes of friendship, courage, and the fight against tyranny.
