Episode Context

Coming off Episode 16's solo espionage mission where Li goes undercover and crosses paths with General Vestarnu, Episode 17 pivots the focus back to the broader crew dynamic with Dick's reintroduction into the fold. This episode plants the seeds of conflict, specifically around teamwork and trust, that pay off directly in Episode 18, where Dick's inability to coordinate with the crew contributes to Daiya and Gaiking falling into enemy hands.
