The pool scene in the beginning was definitely fan service - but developed the class dynamics well, with Horikita's creepy brother staring at them for some reason. This episode was alright but I get the feeling the show has a really loose direction on where it wants to go/convey

Something that threw me off was Class D's spending of the points.. like isn't it natural to have some self-preservation when it comes to currency? The teacher never gave much explanation on the S points either, so it really didn't make sense to me.

Overall, episode I feels like the first crack in the mask. The most hype part is when the class realises they are at the absolute bottom. My opinion about the graphics is that the focus on character eyes is top-tier, especially how Ayanokoji’s gaze stays deadpan
