Clannad: After Story
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Where most love stories in anime roll credits once the couple gets together, Clannad: After Story starts there and asks the harder question — what happens next? Tomoya Okazaki and Nagisa Furukawa have graduated, and now they're dealing with the stuff nobody warns you about: figuring out a career, navigating family baggage, building a life when you're barely an adult. Tomoya's still carrying the weight of a rough relationship with his father, and Nagisa's health has always been fragile, so nothing about their path forward is simple. This 24-episode TV series from Kyoto Animation is the second half of the Clannad story, adapted from the visual novel, and it's where the real emotional gut punches live. The first season sets the table — After Story is the meal. There's a mysterious parallel storyline set in an illusionary world that weaves through everything, adding a quiet supernatural layer you won't fully understand until late in the series. The soundtrack by itself could make you cry. The drama here is grounded in everyday life — jobs, parents, growing apart and back together — which is exactly why it hits so hard. If you liked Anohana or Your Lie in April, this lives in that same emotional territory, but it goes further because it covers years of a relationship instead of just one chapter. Fair warning: keep tissues nearby. This one earns every tear.

#1 Anime #1 Temporada (Clanand:After Story) #1 Arco (After Story 2x9-2x22) #1 Episodio (2x18 The Ends Of The Earth) #3 Protagonista (Tomoya Okazaki) #6/7 Deuteragonista (Nagisa Furukawa) #5 Personajes Secundarios #1 Peak (Secuencia del Tren / Campo de Girasoles) #1 Emociones #1 Temas (Propósito, Amor, Familia, Vida)
