It’s about the approaching graduation and what everyone plans to do afterward. The episode feels sad because Nagisa is sick and can’t attend school or take her exams, giving a reflective and tender moment full of care.

UP: The emotional weight FINALLY kicks in. Tomoya graduating alone while Nagisa is sick is heartbreaking. The scene where he walks with her after graduation is BEAUTIFUL. DOWN: The episode drags with repetitive "what will I do after school" conversations. 🌸

The gang war plotline wraps up in a way that’s more emotional than action-packed. It’s a bit of a departure from the school setting, but it works well for the characters and the type of story clannad has.
