EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

A somber, character-driven escalation that abandons stand-alone mission structure for ideological weight. The episode turns on Amagi's history and convictions, framing the conflict through the difference between power used to protect and power used to impose order. Jiro Azuma's recent return from Mumei Forest sits under renewed tension as Jiro, Rago, and the Bureau of Espionage cast position around a gathering confrontation. Pacing moves between reflective supernatural drama and the tightening urgency of preparation. The mood is heavy and urgent, with reflection and dread carrying more weight than spectacle. That contrast is deliberate: conviction against authority, protection against control. Character history, not combat, drives the hour.
