Ciel decides the Phantomhive staff seriously need training after all their constant disasters. Watching them try and fail to improve is pretty entertaining, but Sebastian overseeing everything just reminds you how absurdly perfect he is.

Episode Context

Positioned at the one-third mark of the 24-episode season, this filler episode transitions away from the lighter tone of Episode 7's festivities and introduces the Houndsworth Arc, bringing fresh supernatural elements into play. It serves as a setup chapter that deepens the show's occult mythology without advancing the core Phantomhive narrative. Subsequent episodes build on the mysteries introduced here, making it a worthwhile watch for atmosphere even if it's skippable for plot.
