Once a violin prodigy, Hajime Aono stepped away from music — and slowly found his way back thanks to Ritsuko Akine, a classmate whose raw enthusiasm for the violin reminded him why he picked one up in the first place. Season 1 was about that comeback. Season 2 is about what comes next.

With the third-years gone after the summer concert, Umimaku High School's Orchestra Club is suddenly a very different group. The second-years are running things now, and they're gearing up for nationals. Problem is, not everyone's on the same page — some members are fired up, others are coasting, and the gap in skill and motivation makes the whole orchestra sound like it's fighting itself.
