Episode Context

As the first episode of a 21-episode second season, 'Coming Apart' directly follows the first season's conclusion where the orchestra's regular concert wrapped and the third-years graduated. It establishes the central tension for this new arc, a restructured ensemble preparing for the national competition without its former leaders. Everything introduced here, from leadership struggles to interpersonal friction, serves as the foundation the rest of the season will build on.
