EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the lighter energy of the Sports Day episode, Episode 5 pivots sharply back to the orchestra's core mission: preparing for nationals. It exposes the fractures in the ensemble's cohesion and deepens key interpersonal dynamics — particularly around Aono, Sakuma, and Haru — setting the emotional and musical groundwork for Episode 6, 'Regret and Progress,' where the group will need to convert these growing pains into forward momentum.
