Intense episode, with a great mix of emotions shown.
Her past makes me sad.
The voice acting during their struggle with their thoughts makes it feel even more real.

Overall - Must watch, 10/10.

Giggling and smiling from ear to ear watching their romantic scene. This is the sweetest and most adorable episode ever. Despite the slight misunderstanding and Miku's insecurities, glad Yukiya finally realizes his feeling.

Me gustó y emocionó éste capítulo. Nos muestra un poco de la niñez de ellos dos y las inseguridades de Miku.

Smiling, giggling like a possessed man, and wiggling my toes in excitement! I feel like a maiden squealing mindlessly at these scenes, LOL! That said, while I'm enjoying the romantic tension between them, I also can't help but feel really sad for Miku. Seeing her act so desperately really breaks my heart, and Yukiya isn't really at fault here either. As much as I hate how dense (and cowardly) he can be, it's honestly beyond his control.

One of the strongest episodes so far. Big relationship progress, solid character writing, and plenty of emotional payoff. 💯

This is one of those episodes where the relationship actually moves forward instead of resetting back to square one. We love to see it!!!

They finally crossed the line and somehow both ended up MORE confused than before. The romance progression is progressing but the emotional damage is progressing faster somehow???

Kyaaa!!! The emotions in this episode are overflowing despite the subsequent sluggish rhythm, as the atmosphere sets a remarkably compelling tone for those particular moments. Honestly, the contrast between reading the manga and watching the adaptation on screen evokes a completely different vibe. Nevertheless, the emotions are delivered with precise detail and intense execution.

I actually screamed when they kept going with the pocky because I really thought they would just chicken out again and that kiss was so much more intense than any other romance show lately

seeing miku cry in front of her grandmothers picture was a total gut punch and it explains so much about why she acts so aggressive in the game when she just wants to be cute

I still can't believe they actually finished that pocky game and kissed for real because my heart was jumping when Miku didn't back down

Yukiya running through the streets to get to Mikus house was a great way to end the episode. He is finally done with the games and just wants to make sure she is okay

It's crazy how a simple pocky game turned into a full kiss, but the mood shifted so fast when Miku started crying. You can tell they both feel guilty about the game even though they clearly like each other.

Watching the girls gossip about Miku in the flashback for being shy was frustrating to watch. It explains why she clings to Yukiya so much since he was the only one who defended her back then

I felt awful when Miku didnt show up for school and hearing her weak voice on the phone was the worst. Watching Yukiya ditch class and bolt out into the rain felt right

The lighting during the sunset scene at the park looked incredible and it made the whole kiss feel way more significant. The animation was gorgeous for that specific moment in the story

I really wasn't expecting this episode to dive so deep into Miku's childhood trauma and the pressure she feels to stay cheerful. It makes sense why she's so obsessed with being cute now. Seeing her break down in her room after the kiss was brutal because she feels like a bad person for wanting Yukiya to look at her like that.

That pocky game was so stressful and the way Yukiya was sweating just made it feel more real. They were both blushing so hard before the kiss happened and the silence while they were biting down was intense

That hospital flashback where Miku was wailing while her grandma told her to keep smiling really got to me. I felt so bad for her because she just wants to be cute for Yukiya

The manager using a pastry to explain how girls feel was actually a pretty good metaphor. Yukiya really needed to hear that. He was just sitting there completely lost at the cafe counter

EPISODE CONTEXT

Two episodes from the finale, Episode 10 arrives in the aftermath of a pivotal shift in Yukiya and Miku's relationship established in Episode 9, using that momentum not to accelerate but to deepen. It functions as an emotional bridge — processing what has changed between the two before the series moves into its final push. What gets explored here about Miku's internal struggles will almost certainly shape how the concluding episodes resolve their dynamic.
