QUICK TAKES

Persistent Miku.Yuki did something that made Miku sad.
Dude, every episode makes me excited and curious about the next episode.
Overall — Bolder, 9/10

This is another funny and entertaining episode. Something happened and it seems there's a little bit misunderstanding between Miku and Yukiya. But the episode ended with sweet scene, so can't wait to see what will happen in the next episode.

Following the previous episodes' slower animation rhythm, this one is a bit better, though it is still slow. Furthermore, the entertaining part that carries it is the interaction between the characters, with spot-on seiyuu and very detailed expressions, such as eye twitching particularly in close-up scenes, which makes the facial movements and the emotions feel more genuine and uplifting.

The romantic tension in this episode is soooo damn crazy! Though, I've gotta say, I kinda pity Miku a little here. It may look like she's locking in, but if you pay close attention to the details, you'll realize that what’s fueling her actions are her own insecurities.

Animation and framing doing heavy lifting here!!!!! Every close-up feels like it’s intentionally trying to break their composure. So freaking pretty

The student council president basically treating romance like a live experiment is chaotic neutral behavior at its finest 😭 pretty funny though

Miku becoming a relationship mentor while clearly struggling herself is actually a funny but painful contrast. She’s giving advice she is actively failing to follow in real time LOL

EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 8's student council president storyline, which likely introduced outside pressure or rivalry into Yukiya and Miku's orbit, Episode 9 appears to pull the focus back inward to the central duo. At the three-quarter mark of a 12-episode season, this episode likely serves as both a tonal reset and a quiet escalation of the pair's bond before the final stretch tightens the emotional stakes heading into Episodes 10 through 12.
