Something about Michiru makes her incredibly easy to root for. She's awkward, timid, and sometimes seems completely overwhelmed by everything happening around her, yet that actually makes her feel more believable. The surrounding cast is also becoming increasingly entertaining because nobody here seems remotely normal 😆😆 There's a surprisingly warm feeling mixed into all the supernatural weirdness this time.

This episode is curious. It's more of a series of events that further bind Michiru to Chika and Shito as their assistant (or as they call her, slave), and it also introduces several colorful characters who join the cast of this series. We were already flirting with the yuri genre in the last episode, but now we literally have a lesbian character who is a sexual harasser. This chapter serves to establish and explain a bit about the dynamics of the zombie loan agency, and the next case to be solved only has a couple of scenes, albeit visually interesting ones. Like the way Yomi channels the clues to reach the next enemy. I'd say it's almost a transitional episode.

We get more memorable and distinct characters this time around. The story manage to catch the balance between fun interactions and dark tones of the setting. They boys act like teenagers despite their circumstances and the trio still have a lot of tension they need to grow out off, but that's what I'm looking forward to.
