Trust definitely feels like a dangerous thing in this anime. Every time someone enters the picture, I immediately start wondering whether I should be suspicious of them 😅 Chika's personality brings plenty of energy as usual, while Shito remains much harder to read. That contrast continues to work really well for me. Even during calmer conversations, there's enough uncertainty underneath everything to keep me paying attention.

In this episode, we learn a little more about Shiba, Chika's old friend, who turns out to be more than just a filler character. He's quite intelligent and will be a great help in getting to... what? I certainly didn't understand the point of solving the clues if they haven't actually found the culprit. That was just a random internet search. We also finally get an explanation as to why Chika and Shito have to exchange hands and why they work together despite not getting along so well. Although this episode seems to have many logical errors and a few convenient plot points, the characters' charisma somehow makes the inconsistencies less noticeable... like, for example, telling a complete stranger to work for a zombie agency. You'd think that kind of thing should be kept secret.

A bit of chika-centric episode as we are hinted about his backstory and the complicated relationship he has with Shito. The new character introduced is incredibly sus and is not even trying to hide it too much. The mystery is pretty decent so far, but we'll see how it concludes.
