I really wasn't expecting the heroine to break down this fast and seeing her try to fight off the corruption while her body keeps betraying her was pretty intense. The scene where she found the source of the curse got me, because you could tell by her face that she knew it was over for her and she looked terrified

You can see her spirit just snapping during that final scene in the bedroom and it makes the corruption feel more earned than usual. The sound design during the nightmares is pretty creepy too.
