This is surprisingly a very mild episode with a very neutral tone. To be honest, while this kind of episode usually isn't anything noteworthy, given the current pace of the story, I can't be certain if this one is building up to something sad and "scary" or something happy. That aside, I just love how Koharu notices Sorano's habits, just like how she first noticed them when they were just starting to warm up to each other.

Kyoko really knew the whole time without him saying a single name. That call felt like the universe finally giving Kakeru permission to stop drowning in his own helplessness. "Stay by her side. That's enough." Going to remember those words for a long while

That flashback with little Koharu crying and Kakeru promising to listen to whatever she wants to share absolutely wrecked me. The bookmark pay-off from episode 9 landing the way it did is exactly why this show treats its audience like adults
