EPISODE REVIEWS
It's been years since I watched this. I love this series as it adds to relationship turmoils. This first episode is catching the originals energy with some heartbreak. Also, the opening is everything to me, I rewatch it in my spare time. No one matches.
Coming back after the original series, this episode does a great job of introducing the next stage of Ichigo's journey. Instead of simply continuing where things left off, it immediately shows that life has changed since Paris. Seeing Kashino again already brought back the nostalgia, while Johnny's first appearance added a completely different dynamic. It feels like the beginning of a brand new chapter, and I was excited to see where it would go.
I'm loving the mature development of all the characters in this season, not just in terms of their visuals but also their mindset and how the story progresses into grown up responsibilities and challenges. Furthermore, it is still really enjoyable towatch, even if it may not have a flawless and very smooth graphics animation. Aside from that, this is a great narrative premiere continuation for this season.
