AT first I thought the episode seems like another filler episode, however, it seems like the plot seems to get more interesting throughout the episode. We now know they have to do something in order to protect the youkai in their dimension but I wonder how will they try to solve this problem. We also have a sub-plot as well in this episode which may be concluded in the next episode
Not gonna lie, this is one of those setup episodes that sounds way less interesting on paper than it actually is. The political side of Sakurashin isn't something I expected to care about, but Kohime has enough charm to keep things engaging. You can feel the story quietly moving pieces into place for something bigger.
I noticed that some of the familiar scenes played in the 2008 series adaptation. The pool scene was a breather but with over bit fan service visuals. Overall, the ep seems a bit dull, with narrative-driven, and world and plot building going on; that made the pacing slowest so far.
