This episode really just grabs you by the collar and says "good luck keeping up." The amount of stuff getting thrown at the screen is honestly kinda nuts, but somehow it works. The cast clicks almost immediately and the direction is dripping with style. I was confused, entertained, and completely locked in at the same time.
I just found out about this anime when I just randomly trying to find new anime to binge watch. The animation's quality is superb and I like how each of the characters were introduced. So far I can see there are multiple protagonists in this anime which I found quite to my liking such as Hime and Akina. Hopefully the animation quality will maintain and the plot is somewhat quite interesting.
After finishing off the Yozakura Quartet (2008), I was slightly confused by this series — with a different animation, character re-introduction, art style, and artwork. I don't think it's a continuation of the '08 first season, rather, it was indeed a reboot! I was mesmerized by the first frame, so much difference in animation quality! This reboot was much more engaging from the get-go. No dull moments, action-packed, but unrecognizable Akina. Though, good thing Yuki Kaji was still the VA.
