After finishing off the Yozakura Quartet (2008), I was slightly confused by this series — with a different animation, character re-introduction, art style, and artwork. I don't think it's a continuation of the '08 first season, rather, it was indeed a reboot! I was mesmerized by the first frame, so much difference in animation quality! This reboot was much more engaging from the get-go. No dull moments, action-packed, but unrecognizable Akina. Though, good thing Yuki Kaji was still the VA.
