Such a good end for the race. This episode is where Onoda cements his goals and wants, which is so nice to see early on in the season. Because Onoda is one of those people who really works hard towards what he wants and seeing his immense improvement during the race itself was such whiplash. Perseverance is honestly one of Onoda's strengths and it really shows in this episode. Overall, a great episode.
The tension kept increasing without needing flashy moments every second. I found myself paying attention to every little move because it genuinely felt exciting. What I like most is that the series makes cycling look thrilling even for someone who knows almost nothing about the sport. Another episode that went by way too fast!
They are enjoying rather than feeling the competition right now, which makes this episode more exciting. That trick was so good that they are all surprised. Thanks to Shoukichi. It was so good. The backstory added more depth to the story. It was so good episode.
