This episode was really fun because we really got to see Onoda shine happily for the first time because of his cycling. Because of his experience with a heavier bicycle, his new equipment makes it almost a world of difference. It really shows that even if someone's very good with mediocre equipment, imagine the possibilities if they were using equipment that fit their potential and capabilities. We get to see that clearly with Onoda. Captains are Captains for a good reason!
Seeing Onoda experience something new was genuinely satisfying. His excitement is so contagious that I couldn't help smiling along with him. The pacing was great too because it gradually built anticipation instead of rushing into the action. This anime keeps reminding me that enjoying the journey can be just as important as reaching the goal.
Everyone is amazed and shocked by Sakamichi. I'm so happy about that. Sakamichi's motivation and dedication are so great. I hate it when Yusuke belittles Sakamichi, even though he is right in technical matters. I like the captain's way of motivating Sakamichi. What a hype episode.
