This was a great episode because we had Onoda learn more about cycling and races. We also we got to meet the members of the cycling team which was a good eye-opener to Onoda who always had a kind of complex towards physical and just athletic clubs in general. Another nice thing is his demeanor which is a change of pace from other MC's in sports animes who already come into the clubs with their passions already burning. Onoda has interest, but he's not sure whether he wants to go into this new thing, an athletic sport. His first ever and it's perfectly okay. Because that is just how life is, and it's more realistic that way. Overall, it was such a nice episode!

I can understand why Onoda feels so conflicted here. Sometimes choosing between what you love and a new opportunity isn't easy at all. The episode balances that feeling really well while introducing more of the cycling club. It doesn't rush anything, which makes the characters feel more believable. I'm getting more attached to this team every episode.

I'm glad that Sakamichi and Shoukichi met again in this episode. How Shoukichi told a story was so interactive and so expressive. I don't get why Sakamichi is so clumsy, and yet he can cycle uphill. I'm also glad that Sakamichi is making friends. They also show a glimpse of the other school team. Sakamichi is really an interesting character.
