This was an amazing episode. We got into the transition period where all the sprinters came back to the herd. Strategizing for the next part of the race, which was the climb, was starting to happen. Then at the end of the episode, we were dealt with a massively shocking setback. I've never been on the edge of my seat and thinking "this can't be happening?!" in an episode of an anime like this before. I can't wait for the next episode.
My heart was honestly racing during this episode. The pressure feels much higher now, and every moment matters. What I appreciate is that the story doesn't just focus on winning, but also on how characters handle difficult situations. It shows their determination in a way that feels really genuine.
It's always fun when Sakamichi is nervous. Why are some characters in this anime weird? They are cringy and annoying. We are now going into the exciting part. The pressure is on. It's now the climbers' time to shine, but the plot twist says otherwise. What a jaw-dropping situation just happened.
