We truly get the start of the inter-high race in this episode. We even get a bit more insight into our sprinters and how a race naturally progresses. I also love that we are now seeing more members of the Hakone team as the race progresses.
Finally, the competition is underway!! 😆 The atmosphere changes immediately, and every team brings its own style to the race. I especially enjoy how the strategies make each group feel unique instead of blending together. It's exciting without becoming overwhelming, which makes it really easy to stay invested.
What a fun way to start this episode before the race starts. His mother has no idea whatsoever what Sakamichi joined. Smooth start of the race, but it's starting to get intense. The banter and the competition among the Sohoku sprinters were so funny and fun to watch. I don't get why he unzipped his top jersey. And for someone who is in the front, cycling effortlessly doesn't make sense. Is the physics not present in that part?
