This episode was slightly a bit of filler, but we do get introduced to the main antagonists of this season and also our main rivals, they're not the same. As always, it's a rival school. But it's less of a rival school and more of a rival athlete. Onoda's training and motivation are tested hard here. Not just his, but the rest of the first-years as well. And seeing them strive to be better is all the greater to watch.

No wonder everyone keeps talking about this training camp. The challenge already feels exhausting, and it's only getting started. I like that the anime doesn't magically make anyone stronger overnight. Every kilometer feels earned, which makes me want to cheer for every rider, especially Onoda. His determination is seriously contagious.

I can feel their frustrations about the handicap. Imaizumi's determination and resolution are evident in this episode. I also like their perseverance, but can they complete it? The bath scene was fun to watch. They also showed us the other school's situation. That new character reminds me of Satori Tendo of Haikyuu!
