EPISODE REVIEWS

I thought the previous episode was emotional, but this one broke me even more. This time, we don't have a main customer; instead, it's the doctor and the owner of YaShe who have a brief conversation about the story of a candle that was guarded by a monk. The story is BEAUTIFUL. It stirs up so many emotions. The 3D in this episode is less jarring than in the last one; it feels more organic with the 2D animation. And the music—OH MY GOD, THE MUSIC! It perfectly complements the climax.

I love how steadfast the monk was in his duties, even when told by his 'deity', he held true. Often, others will take advantage of another's kindness with contemplating the consequences.

Another interesting story from the antique shop, Ya She. The monk is such a kind and good person. The dedication is exceptional. The range I feel for his brother is evident. He's a monk first and foremost. The ending is emotional.
