YaShe

This final chapter is stunning. Action, drama, tension. How do you defeat a curse thousands of years old? With thousands of victims awaiting their just retribution. We finally learn about Gan Bizhi's relationship with Fu Xu and how it all began. It's very clear that there are still things to tell and that this ending isn't the end of the story. So, where's season 2? One really nice thing is seeing familiar faces from this season appear in this episode, and it's clear how they've moved on with their lives. Overall, a great finale; I hope they make a continuation soon.

In this episode, we finally learn why the doctor had to carry a longevity amulet and why his mother died after giving it to him. It's an intense and dramatic episode, and while some 3D models break the immersion, overall the experience is excellent. We're left at the end in the middle of a confrontation; we'll have to wait to find out how this millennia-old curse ends.

This episode starts by leading us to believe one thing, but it turns out that in the end it wasn't what it seemed. I like that twist, although I was interested in learning more about that character, or at least his past. Anyway, we get a little more information about YaShe's owner and his relationship with the doctor; it's not much, but with the 12 episodes almost over, I'm worried we won't learn more. I like that in this episode the vengeful spirit is treated as the victim it is. Where did the tape to repair the umbrella come from at the end? And now that the prophecy has come true, what does that mean for the future?

This episode is both beautiful and epic!! A flower shop owner receives a very special seed as a gift from the owner of YaShe, unaware that she herself has a long-standing connection to that plant. I must say, the animation in this episode is superb. The fight scenes are incredibly well-animated, far superior to what we saw in episode 2. Every sequence is exquisitely detailed. And another thing, I always appreciate seeing a story where the common people rise up against corrupt emperors. I don't often come across stories like this; it's usually the dynasties and monarchies that are favored.

Another episode that had me in tears. A doll was created by an empress who couldn't bear her husband's indifference. Interestingly, we have a Pygmalion case here, but in reverse (?) I can't put into words how dramatic and bittersweet this story is. I couldn't stop crying. The 3D truck ruined one of the most important scenes... but overall, everything else was a 10/10.

This episode is also very interesting, and it starts strong. We have two people in the same body, a homicide, and suspicions about who the real killer is. Although, well, the suspicions don't last long because the episode doesn't really focus on discovering the killer, but rather on the pain of a whole life lost and two characters who, in the midst of such a particular situation, support each other. The ending did seem somewhat confusing to me. And I really find it very strange that a person can continue a life... in that way.

This chapter is so sweet! I really like the idea of ​​ancient mythological beings being able to reunite with the reincarnations of people they knew in the past. Watching Qiong Qi interact with modern gadgets is hilarious. It's truly a lovely chapter; it reminded me a bit of Kikyo and Inuyasha's story.

This episode is very interesting and full of mystery. A museum director is troubled by a bronze sword he found 40 years ago. In this episode, YaShe's owner appears more imposing and mysterious than ever, raising many questions about his abilities and his past identity. The fight scene is excellent and features some beautiful shots, but there are some noticeable dips in quality when the director is fleeing. Aside from those issues, the rest of the episode is flawless.

In this episode, we finally learn a bit more about Dr. Su Beilu, who feels overwhelmed by the pressure of knowing that human lives depend on him not making any mistakes at work. But the owner of YaShe has exactly what he needs. The story isn't overly complex, but it does a good job of illustrating the confusing nature of dreams and how they end up (at least in this story) foretelling a future that can be changed. The episode's resolution is charming and a bit of fanservice (which I appreciate).

This was a good ending. This concludes the current arc while opening up new avenues. Personally, I love that the artifacts he uses make a comeback as well. This was a wonderful story for any person. [8.77/10]

I thought the previous episode was emotional, but this one broke me even more. This time, we don't have a main customer; instead, it's the doctor and the owner of YaShe who have a brief conversation about the story of a candle that was guarded by a monk. The story is BEAUTIFUL. It stirs up so many emotions. The 3D in this episode is less jarring than in the last one; it feels more organic with the 2D animation. And the music—OH MY GOD, THE MUSIC! It perfectly complements the climax.

The stakes have been raise with the truth finally out! I do think there is more to Bizhi's and Beilu's family connect from what has been shown. Excited for the finale!

This episode introduced a challenge that will affect both Bizhi and Beilu! The white snake did not deserve what happened to her and the fact that she had to become a ghost is so sad.

This was very good! I love the way that this story mirrors the bronze mirror. Both have connections between the past and present with love being the driving force.

This was a good episode on love and deluding oneself for momentary happiness. My own gripe is that the women run back/focus on their past loves rather then letting go.

The story is tragic but interesting. We get a murder mystery with reveals on a possible season finale enemy.

This was a good episode on perspective. How the spirit beasts view their current owner versus their previous one. Also, understanding why what happened in the past should not cloud them on their future.

This episode didn't reveal too much about the antique's past but relations between the sword and the antique store owner. I wonder if there will be a full reveal later on.

This episode was weaker then the previous ones but it does allow for reflection on the main character's part. There is some hints sprinkled into the connection between the two MMCs.

I love how steadfast the monk was in his duties, even when told by his 'deity', he held true. Often, others will take advantage of another's kindness with contemplating the consequences.
