EPISODE CONTEXT
After episodes 1 and 2 established the dual-world premise and Marie's fish-out-of-water adjustment to modern Japan, episode 3 pushes the story forward by introducing a concrete quest objective and expanding the supporting cast. It deepens the partnership between Kazuhiro and Marie while laying groundwork for more complex adventures that the back half of this 12-episode season will likely build on.
