I was cringing the whole episode 😭 Watari trying to act normal on a date while Suzu is right there judging everything… yeah no. And the fact Satsuki is lurking nearby?? even worse.

This episode is lowkey hilarious 😭 imagine going on your “first date” and your little sister is just there the whole time?? The zoo trip was cute but SO awkward. Like bro this is NOT how dates are supposed to go

Oops new character alert, and she's a total cutie. I hope this show doesn't slowly become harem xD

Episode Context

A breather episode that trades emotional intensity for warmth and quiet connection. After the heightened drama of recent developments between Naoto and Yukari, episode seven shifts into a relaxed, slice-of-life register built around a zoo outing with Naoto's sister Suzushiro in tow. The familial dynamic adds a charming layer, grounding the romance in something more personal and lived-in. Expect gentle humor, understated character moments, and a reflective pace that lets the leads simply exist around each other without manufactured tension. The 'just before summer break' framing gives everything a wistful, transitional quality, that feeling of standing on the edge of change without quite stepping into it yet. This is the kind of episode that rewards patience, deepening your understanding of who these characters are when they're not in crisis.
