Wangan Midnight

Very atmospheric ending, like i mention in the previous episodes, ultimately there is no winner here, everybody got the taste of Wangan and it kinds of give them a new reason to keep on going, overcoming the obstacles and eventually develop them into a much better person. (it is not only about cars btw)~~

Now the Devil Z getting an upgrade it deserve, especially now that we are in the endgame. But i can't say the same for its rival though, not gonna spoil it but it's pretty bad. But good news is is that Takagi pretty much turns tragedy into an accomplishment, the new visual for it is insane not gonna lie🔥

A surprising tonal shift, knowing this few last episode should kick off and setting up for the end scenes. So not a lot of epic races like before unfortunately, but we do have a nice character bonding/development momments troughout the episode with one of the side character.

Epic race🚗🚗, what more can i say? That should be more than enough reason for you to stop reading this review and go watch it if you haven't! All of the legends are here roaring their engine out! so cool, i can't get enough of it🤩👏

I feel like the focus in this episode is a tad bit all over the place it feels like. But on the bright side, the pace is picking up again and it's getting more intense! Loving Rikako's part here though!

Not a lot of racing here, kind of a slower paced episode compared to previous episodes. The Blackbird is getting a nice tiny upgrade this time around and i won't spoil you what it is. Not the best episode but at least there's something quite significant happening.

An Evo overtaking THE Blackbird?!?! Now that is unexpected. Really putting the standard high here remembering that they moved to a whole new setting now.

A bittersweet way to close this "arc", very much fitting since the theme of Wangan doesn't really crown winners, if anything it actually teach all of the racer some sort of lessons.. it all depends on how they view things~

Not a ton of plot movement here, Just Akio and friend circling each other on the Wangan, you know, just a regular evening in Wangan. Very aesthetically pleasing, moody, atmospheric, a type of slow-burn pace that i enjoy!

There's this one subplot that i really like during this episode, without giving much away, let's say that it reminds me of those soap-opera-ish type of scene HAHAH, but it's definitely caught me off guard at first. Solid episode!

Intense episode! A much-much needed change from the previous one for sure. The battle between these monster engines definately make me scream internally, especially because i am a car guy! 🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏

Loved the whole crew concept that they are going with, especially with the gimmicks of the whole team's identity is built around cracking 200 mph. An okay episode but nothing special~

Setup for the future episode and foreshadowing, that's what this episode is basically. A good one though, we get to explore more about Kitami's character.

Really loved the idea of massive ammount of raw power and what it takes to contain those power and being able to control it properly! That Supra is something else, man.🔥

In my opinion this episode can be skipped, as not much is really going on here in terms of like.. major events and what not. The whole thing about R33 was cool though..

Yeaaa babyy.. Suuupppprrraaaaaa!! Really interesting episode but keeping the similar formula from previous episodes with previously introduced characters. But the new character is interesting enough for me that i didn't mind that at all.

Hiramoto turning point definitely the highlight here! (if you know you know). Can't get enough seeing the R32 though, timeless classic and as beautifull! But it's just hillarious watching him does all that mid-race at 300 km/h.. i don't know why it's just hillarious for me..😅

We got some reveal or i guess a sneak peek at Eriko's life abroad. Definitely a setup for the future of the story. Oh and the Devil Z is on the rise... yet again~

A very sensitive episode for some people, you have been warned. There's some of the most messed up things you will find out or i guess.. gets introduced in here. Just take it with a grain of salt, i guess~~ A very brave take i must say.

This episode has A LOT to take in. some dramatic sequences that are a must-watch is here, all revolving around The Devil Z itself.
