A surprising tonal shift, knowing this few last episode should kick off and setting up for the end scenes. So not a lot of epic races like before unfortunately, but we do have a nice character bonding/development momments troughout the episode with one of the side character.

This episode starts off with the legend and veteran. The pacing was a bit slowed down and was more nostalgic. The analytical tone here is paired with some good animation, which offered some solid character development.
