A bittersweet way to close this "arc", very much fitting since the theme of Wangan doesn't really crown winners, if anything it actually teach all of the racer some sort of lessons.. it all depends on how they view things~

This episode is very touching. The pacing is slowed down to set up an atmosphere. The melancholic tone here, is paired with some good animation, which eventually led to some excellent character development.
